Coloring with Aunt Sid before she heads off to her first weekend of training for the Army National Guard.
Oh his boots! Let me tell you when YaYa first bought these for him and tried to put them on he screamed and kicked and would not have any of it. When I tried we put one on and I started singing a made up on the spot song about his boots and he started dancing. This kid LOVES to dance. Any music or tune or anything said in a sing-song voice he starts to dance.
By the time I got both boots on we sang and danced for close to thirty minutes. Then he would not take them off. He threw a fit when I pulled them off to put his pj's on. Needless to say he wore them all weekend.
Dad brought home a skid steer to level out the front parking area and get rid of the potholes.
Jaxton stood there and watched the whole time.

(check out that hair)
You can't see in this picture but he is wearing overall shorts with his boots :)
His Dad was not happy with my outfit choice, said he looked like a little hick
Because it was so nice we had to make our own puddles to splash in and put those boots to the test.
Of course he got carried away and fell down, got water in his boots and spend the rest of the day squishing when he walked.
