16 Weeks

We had our 16 week appointment yesterday afternoon. Our first appointment with the new doctor whom I like 10x better than the last one that I never actually met... Anyhoo we had our first ultrasound and finally got to see our Little Monkey who had the hiccups for the first half of our viewing, so cute. The first thing Dr. said was 'look your pregnant!' Which made me laugh and then go figure start to tear up. R held my hand, was smiling and looked so proud looking at the little being on the monitor.

Our next appointment is scheduled right after my vacation and we will get to see if we have a little boy Monkey or girl Monkey!

Fathers Day

It has finally been much to nice outside to sit in front of the computer and type so here are the last two weekends in one.

Last Saturday Marcel, Sidonie and I spent all day with our dad. We took a trip to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to take a quick peak at their new big bull elk display. After ooing all over them for a bit we pickup the quads, dog and food and headed out into the wonderful Montana mountains. We went a few miles outside of Lolo to Elk Meadows road, unloaded and headed for the meadows and lakes. Bones the quad dog sat behind dad the whole time.

We got back to the truck and had everything loaded just before the big rain storm hit, lucky us. When we got back home dad grilled up the BBQ ribs he had been slow cooking all day...hello fall off the bone, melt in your mouth ribs!

Hope you had a good day Daddy-o!!

This Saturday we spent all morning at farmers/ peoples market in downtown Missoula. Sidonie and I wondered the streets looking at all the beautiful homemade wares and lovely food. They also had a car show set up at Caras park with lots of old beautiful cars.

While we were having fun downtown my wonderful husband was home working away. He built and painted three screens for our windows so we can get some air flowing. He also built another shelf in the garage to store more of our motorcycle gear and parts. He also brought home 1/2 of an old barrel and we dug a hole in the ground and made a fire pit for those lazy nights.

Guess What!!!........

I know I have been slacking it has been a month since my last post but I have a REALLY good excuse I promise!

You know how I was talking about being patient and good things will come? Well about a week before we signed the paperwork on our house I took the easiest, best test of my life and I aced it!

We are pregnant!! I am currently 12 1/2 weeks and I still feel like crap warmed over. I have the morning/ afternoon/ evening sickness thing still goin. They keep telling me it will go away soon, I have my fingers crossed.

So that is my excuse, I have not felt like doing anything. My house is a mess, we are not all the way moved it yet, I get home try and eat and lay on the couch praying it stays down. Poor R has had to make his own dinner more times in the last month than the two years we have been married. Oh, and the worst part, food doesn't sound good, nothing sounds good, ever. Ugh, I can't wait until I start feeling better!
