Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Yum! If you know me you know that I love hot spicy things, especially good bone in buffalo wings (there really is no other kind). Tonight I made a really great pizza, I can't give you a recipe because I didn't follow one, I just kinda made it up as I went along, and I don't measure things.

I used a packet of quick pizza dough that you just add water to and cooked up some chicken. For the sauce I mixed light ranch (don't tell R) and Franks Buffalo Wing sauce until I liked the flavor and dumped it on the crust (dumped as in I LOVE sauce), sprinkled shredded chicken, mixed pre-shredded Italian cheese and olives on top and baked according to the directions on the crust, and Voila!!

26 Weeks

Okay, so I have been slacking according to my mom because I have not been taking belly pics, and I suppose she is right, I just don't like pictures of myself. But, I suppose these are really pictures of Monkey and I will probably regret it if I don't take some. So here is the first of many to come.

Sewing and Coloring

I had three projects I wanted to get accomplished this long Labor day weekend, and here it is Sunday afternoon and they are done. First on my list of things to do was was a stop at JoAnns fabric where they are having a huge sale, 50% off all their baby fabric and fleece, to pick up material for a nursing cover and a car seat tent. I also picked up some dye to spruce up a few of the onesies I have been given that have seen their share of spit-up and blow-ups already.

I used the tutorial from Little Birdie Secrets for the nursing cover. I added a small corner of fleece to both corners and my piece of boning was a little longer but it all worked out, and I love it. I have lots of leftover fabric and I am going to use it to make a few matching burp cloths.

Then I made a car seat tent loosely following a tutorial from Scraps N' Strings. I did not use the binding around the edges I just sewed around it to give it a finished look. And I used snuggle flannel for both sides since we are going to be spending a lot of time watching hockey games.

Lastly I used Dylon to dye a handful of used onesies. I really like the results, except that I think I splashed some of the orange into the other colors so a few of them look 'dirty' but I have plans to fix that :)

Table Update

Yay we have gotten so much accmplished these last few weeks. Startng with my table!!! R jumped all over the project and after several trips to Home Depot we got it built (two weeks ago, ya I know I'm a little behind) Today R sanded it from top to bottom and it is now ready to paint! I have decided to paint it white, but that is all I know. I still haven't decided what to do to the top. I want to be able to put hot stuff on it, but I also want it flat so I can make things like Christmas sugar cookies. Anyhoo here are some pictures.

I have also been working on a couple sewing projects for monkey that I will get posted today or tomorrow.
